Diving around Rao, Morotai and the tenths of small islands of this part of North Halmahera, Moluccas offers you everything you dreamed of!
Walls, slopes, schooling fish, coral gardens and even excellent “critter and macro diving”. Sept. 2018 we found one of the sites which for sure offer the largest amount of huge schools of various fishes: Jacks, Rainbow Runners, Snappers, Surgeon Fishes and much more. All together at the same time. This place is only 2 kilometers away from our beach. Indeed: “how could we miss this so long”. Well you have to know the currents and best times to dive.
DIVE SEASON for Morotai and Magic Bay Rao is 15 May – 16 Sept: For other periods please be welcome at Weda Resort, Halmahera and Nature Resort at Lembeh Island
Rates for Diving
Price per dive, including the boat, guide, tank, weights: IDR 550.000. Night dive: IDR 650.000
Self guided shore dives, with supervision from the beach, IDR 150.000 per person, per dive.
Minimum two divers.
Surcharge private boat, per day, per boat: IDR 1.200.000
